About Me

untitled-6.jpg
Hey, I'm Jessie!

I became a hairstylist so that I could be the one that you could trust completely.

Like you, I've had too many bad experiences at hair salons. Eight years into this career, and I still hear horror stories of visits to previous hairstylists. We should be day makers; People who add hope, confidence, and excitement to your life. That’s what I do this for, to be a glimmer of hope for women like you, who need to feel that trust and excitement again.

Being your stylist means more to me than just giving you a color and haircut that looks good on you. I want to show you how to get past the struggles that you have with your hair.

When you visit me, you can ask all of the questions you've always wondered about hair, and know that I'll give you my honest and educated answer. You can trust that I have your best interests at heart, and I'll only do services that I think will benefit your hair, and can blend well with your lifestyle.

Here's a few facts about me!

  • I'm a total book worm, and I'm always listening to podcasts or audible books. I LOVE talking about them, and sharing knowledge with each other!

  • I'm always looking for ways to better myself, especially by investing in my education. That's a huge part of my career; I love challenging myself to learn new techniques and styles!

  • I absolutely love dark chocolate, but I'm really sensitive to caffeine so I can't have too much. Since I know what your next thought was, no, I can't drink coffee. I have plenty of energy without it!

  • I love anything that reminds me that I'm human. I probably have too many hobbies, but I don't need to take a chill pill. I do enough chillin' when I read books and work on my business. No, the stuff that makes me feel ALIVE is painting, drawing, hiking, dancing, traveling, driving a standard vehicle, camping, skydiving, paragliding, and eating (of course I'm a foodie). I'm always down to hear about your favorite ways to remind yourself that you're actually living your life, too! Hobbies are what make life fun!

  • I rent a chair at Rinse Hair Studio, so technically I own my own business! I'm really proud of this work, and I love how many details are involved in being an entrepreneur. I regularly go out of my way to support other small businesses because I truly know how important it is to help each other out in a community as small as ours. Some of my very best friends (and clients) are also small business owners!

Now that you know a little about me, I'd love to hear about you!

Shoot me an email, I can't wait to meet you!
